The Blue Bears answered back

Livingstone's October 3 Stonecoming game ended in a 28-20 loss to Fayetteville State, but the Blue Bears made the second half matter. After trailing 21-0 at halftime, Livingstone scored 20 unanswered points and moved within one point of the Broncos.

The college's official recap credits two special-teams touchdowns as part of that comeback. Fayetteville State added a late touchdown to finish the game, leaving Livingstone with a rally to remember and a result it could not quite turn around.

Keep the step show in the picture

The public record also includes a video identified as Livingstone's 2026 Stonecoming Step Show. HBCU CONNECT linked the original YouTube video in its October 3 post, giving alumni and students another part of homecoming to return to.

Watch the original video below for the performance itself. The footage stays with its publisher, and the step show gets its own place beside the football result in Livingstone's homecoming archive.
